Sallèles-d’Aude’s CCAS, always here to listen and help

Dominique Trilles,
vice-president of the CCAS

In an ever-evolving world where people can’t reach their goals and feel more and more alone, we want to strengthen the social links between all Sallèles-d’Aude’s inhabitants. It’s one of the most important missions of the CCAS.

In 2001 the city council decided to give more funds to the CCAS, thus applying a policy of closeness, volunteerism and support to fight against all kinds of exclusion. The CCAS exceeded its goals to become a major player in the city life. It is at the heart of many actions and initiatives and gathers an important network of partners, professionals and volunteers.

...

Brotherhood, tolerance and respect can't be set by decree but, thanks to all the CCAS staff and the city council, these values of sharing are promoted to push back indifference and individualism, two things that are unfortunately too present in our modern society.
